Patti Gray NCBTMB, #4299 LMT, CHTP has been providing Massage Therapy services for Lincoln County since 2003. Graduating from Everest College, formally Georgia Medical Institute after a 1 year study. Congruent with massage therapy school, also began studying Healing Touch with Healing Touch International, a 3 year certification program for energetic balancing which includes a 1 year mentor-ship, during this time period also practicing Qi Gong under the direction of Grand Master Fu of the Emei school of Qi Gong and Grand Master Ku, Grand Master of Hop Gar Kung Fu, Ed Armstrong, Tia Chi Knight. Study and practice of Iyengar Yoga. Study of Ayurveda and Ayurveda Massage with Ayurveda Institute of Albuquerque, NM.
Prior to the study of healing arts, Patti studied Studio Art. Previous training began in Tel Aviv, Israel, Florence Italy,
San Antonio, Texas and Seagrove , NC.
Currently Patti is working in oils, clay and wood. Experienced in drawing, hand made paper, fiber, sewing, printmaking,
hand building ceramics, sculpture, bronze, water color and wood sculpture.
Favorite things to do are get a massage and enjoy time with my beau, family, dogs, cooking, swimming and gardening.
Greatest happiness nowadays is spending time with Elle and Benjamin!

Mr. Nelson, often assists Patti throughout the day with his work as a Service Dog and Therapy Dog.
He has his own place to be, a comfortable kennel and does not interact with clients when they arrive for massage therapy other than to say hello.
Mr. Nelson is hypoallergenic as far as his hair goes.
If, however you are afraid of dogs, please

The goal of Swedish Massage is to melt away muscle tension, ease discomfort of minor aches and pains, relieves stress, reduce high blood pressure and improve circulation. Swedish Massage is extremely therapeutic as it decreases muscle toxins, increases oxygen levels in the blood, and improves flexibility in the body.

This is the massage I use for the first experience of massage for most people. If their pain level is higher than 5 on a 1 to 10 scale then one of the other treatments may be more suitable for their condition.
Hot Stone Massage is often paired with Swedish Massage. Stones are heated and used with oils to sooth, warm, and massage your muscles. This allows your body to relax and release tension and stress. The Relaxation Swedish massage usually incorporates a few hot stones therapeutically.
